MORTAR MIX - TYPE S is a quality blend of ASTM C-144 mason sand, Portland cement and hydrated lime or ASTM C-144 mason sand and high strength masonry cement. It is used to build block, brick and stone walls and can be used as a stucco scratch/base coat. Vita-Crete Mortar Mix Type S is designed to meet or exceed the specifications of ASTM C-270, C-387 and C-1714 for Type S Mortar for unit masonry.

BLOCK CORE FILL GROUT is available in Fine or Coarse grades. It is designed to meet or exceed ASTM C-476 and CSA A-179 specifications for reinforced masonry construction. VITA-CRETE Block Core Fill Grout is a fluid, cementitious material used to fill masonry voids and bond steel reinforcement in the cores of masonry units. Requires only the addition of water. VITA-CRETE Block Core Fill Grouts contain Portland cement and coarse sand. Coarse grout contains 3/8” pea stone in addition to concrete sand and Portland cement. Both Fine and Coarse grouts are available in strengths ranging from 2,000 psi (13.8 MPa) to over 5,000 psi (34.5 MPa), depending on the job specifications.
CONCRETE SAND conforms to ASTM C-33 specifications. Washed and dried material is used for mixing concrete, as a base for pavers and block and for a variety of landscaping projects.
